Pork has become known over the years as the other white meat. When you look in the local grocer or market you will notice however its place among the red meat section of the meat coolers. The USDA has even classified pork as a red meat.

Pork is a leaner meat then most domesticated animal when trimmed and cooked correctly however, it is high in cholesterol and saturated fats. Below you will see a chart that shows you the various cuts of meat available from the domesticated pig.
