Cooking Class Information

All Classes are custom designed to teach you and or your group exactly what you want to learn, with the exception of the Basic Training Classes and the Mini Basic Training Classes. All Classes are held in the privacy of your home kitchen and are available in a one on one setting or group class up to 10 (Depending on the class location).
Hands On Cooking Classes
In Hands-On Cooking Classes, you participate in each step of the cooking process to enable you to recreate the experience for your friends and family at home. Our professional chef-instructor will discuss the ins and outs of each recipe, give you valuable tips, and coach you as you work in a one one one class or a small group class to prepare the dishes. You’ll sit down at the end of class to feast upon the fruits of your labor, with a beautifully paired bottle of wine.
Online Cooking Classes
Our live Online Cooking Classes are conducted online via a webcam and microphone. In this format of Classes you will have the direct attention of Chef Ricky as he walks you through every step of the way. Chef will observe and watch as you progress through the class making suggestions, tips and explaining the directions for each dish as well as the cooking methods. Chef Ricky will also answer any questions you may have during the class as well as offer a time at the end of the class to answer any questions you may have.(A webcam and microphone are required)
Cooking Demonstration Classes
This class is designed to teach you by showing you how to complete various cooking methods, techniques, recipes, and more. For the duration of this class you will participate by asking questions and watching as a live audience. At the end of this class you will receive a tasting of the final products made by chef Ricky.
Wine Classes
This class will teach you the fundamentals of wine. You will learn about the various types of wines, flavor combinations, storage methods, pairing, and more. You will also have the ability to taste up to 3 different wines.
Basic Training Class Series

The Basic Training Class series is designed to teach you the fundamentals of cooking properly. You will learn the basics of food safety, knife skills, the mother sauces, basic butchery, egg cookery and more. This series is an 8 week course. At the end of the series you will receive a certificate of completion as well as a custom graduation gift from Classy Catering Creations.
Mini Basic Training Class Series
This Mini Basic Training Class series is designed to teach you the beginning fundamentals of cookery. This series of classes is a 3 week course. At the end of this course you will have the fundamental knife skills, food safety and mother sauces.
Class Times
All class schedules are based on your needs. However, all classes must be scheduled no less than 3 weeks before the desired date of the class.
The following are Cooking Class Tuitions, unless stated otherwise on our class calendar:
Tuition
- Basic Training Class Series: $525.00
- Mini Basic Training Class Series: $125.00
- Hands-On Cooking Classes: $75.00
- Team Building Classes: $65.00 (5 Student Minimum)
- Live Web Classes: $40.00
- Cooking Demonstration Classes: $45.00
- Wine Classes: $60.00
*Note: All class prices are priced per person. Basic Training, and Mini Basic Training classes have different price structures. Please check the individual class or program.
Credit Card Reservations for classes required.
All classes may be subject to cancellation or rescheduling by the Classy Catering Creations.
Corkage Fees
Classy Catering Creations provides you with a handpicked wine to enjoy during your class or at the end of the class when you enjoy the fruits of your labor. If, however, you have a special bottle that you would like to bring or use in addition to the bottle provided, please keep in mind that a corkage fee of $10 per bottle of wine and $5 per six-pack of beer will be applied toyour class fee.
CANCELLATION POLICY
In order to keep our classes comfortable and to preserve our chef to student ratio we must impose a cancellation policy. We appreciate your cooperation and understanding.
A one-week notice is required for cancellation of any class. If you do not cancel by telephone at least 1 week in advance of your scheduled class, we will charge your credit card in full for the class. Please feel free to send a friend in your place.
